Expat Records Joins With ExStreamLive.com To Produce A New Online Program Showcasing The Best Up & Coming Artists Called “Indie Talent Search”.

Clearwater, Florida,  - August 3rd, 2013 – Expat Records and ExstreamLive.com have teamed up to produce a new online program that highlights emerging artists in a variety of genres. The weekly program entitled, “Indie Talent Search”, will feature music videos from 5 bands or solo artists along with interviews, tour dates and  more. The goal is to help the artists connect with potential fans in a way not possible in traditional music videos.

“I am excited to launch what we feel is the next logical step in ExStreamLive.com’s continued development” said Faye Nicolette, founder of the popular online music video submission site. Miss Nicolette continued, “Our goal has always been to help new artists launch their music careers…I am thrilled that Expat Records stepped out to sponsor and produce the show”.

Expat Records was recently acquired by Rogers & Stephens Omnimedia, Inc. Expat C.E.O., Rich Rogers echoed Nicolette’s enthusiasm for the project. “We here at Expat are happy to contribute our time and resources for this endeavor… part of our vision when we acquired Expat was to develop innovative ways to help nurture new talent and empower them to reach new fans. This seems like a great vehicle to help make that happen”.

Expat Records Acquired By R & S


Rogers & Stephens Omnimedia, Inc. Acquires Expat Records

Clearwater, Florida,  - July 5th, 2013 – The assets of Expat Records and Expat Publishing have been acquired by the Florida based multimedia firm Rogers & Stephens Omnimedia, Inc. (R & S). “Expat Records pioneered many of the marketing and distribution techniques artists and labels take for granted today” said James Waterson, an R & S spokesman, Waterson continued, “Jeff  (Jeffrey Libby, founder of Expat Records and Expat Publishing) and his team built one of the world’s largest independent record labels in a relatively short period of time…we appreciate all they have accomplished and look forward to working with them during the transition so we can best serve our artists moving forward”.

“I had a lot of offers when I decided to sell the label and publishing companies’ assests, but chose to go with R & S mainly because of the passion I sensed they were passionate about the industry and understood the label’s true potential” said Libby. The fact that Rich (Richard Rogers C.E.O. & Founder of R & S) is going to personally oversee the label sealed the deal”, Libby continued, “Rich has a proven track record of building successful businesses…R & S has the production equipment, personnel and facilites to help take Expat to the next level. Libby also states, “I want to thank the artists, and everyone who believed in the vision of Expat Records, and wish them all nothing but the best”.
